I’ve been looking for a soft yellow that I really love, and I think I’ve finally found it. There’s another glaze underneath that creates those little brown specks as the two meet in the kiln.
This is a versatile piece that could be used as a dip bowl on or off a charcuterie board. It could be a cozy home for a small succulent and has a comfortable curved lip for drinking.

The soft pink and orange on this piece remind me of summer colours, but it’s the white glaze dripping down the sides that really caught my eye. It looks just like icing on a cake - especially the lemon glaze I make for angel food cake.
Use to showcase a succulent or votive candle, or to stash your favourite candies or button collection.

I don’t remember exactly how I glazed it, and I think it may have been a re-fire. Somehow, it came out of the kiln with these beautiful shades of pink inside, with a soft, frothy-looking finish that I wasn’t expecting at all. I have no idea how to re-create it - and I’m not sure I could if I tried.
This shallow bowl is perfect for twirling your pasta, or serving a quinoa salad for two. The spoon in the picture is a tablespoon.

A finger swirl is the easiest way to create texture in a bowl, and texture is one of my favourite ways to have fun with glazes. I love the way this glaze combination follows the spiral into the centre, with colours coming together in a way I find completely irresistible.
This could be your new favourite soup, cereal or snack bowl. Teaspoon shown in picture for reference.

Soft pink and green come together in this little pot, reminding me of watermelon on a summer day. The colours are so gentle, though, that it feels more like a quiet summer memory than a bright slice of fruit.
A little sweetness, a little whimsy, and a pot that makes you smile.

Maybe my kiln favourite in this load. The pink ran down the pot and caught the purple underneath, taking it along for the ride. Look at the drips! Not to mention the beautiful blue-purple it created above the drip line.
This is exactly what I love to have happen when I glaze my pieces. I loved this outcome so much that I made a second piece with the same glazes, which means this little one has a big sister also available if you appreciate it as much as me!
Perfect for a tiny succulent or votive candle, but if it was me, I’d leave it empty so I can admire the inside finish.
